Who are we? Cedar Springs is a Christian hospitality ministry founded by people that love Jesus and want to serve people in His name. At Cedar Springs we are passionate about our mission of providing a quiet, peaceful, and natural environment prepared for adult discipleship programs that nurture Christian character and enrich the church.
Who do we serve? Cedar Springs hosts a variety of Church groups from the region as well as Christian organizations from around the world.
What do we do? We provide great food, comfortable accommodations, nice meeting spaces, and beautiful gardens for groups up to 160 people each weekend. Our goal is to create a beautiful place for our guests to find space with God.
What’s it like working here? We promote a Christian culture where employees are free to share and practice their faith with co-workers and guests. Prayer, devotions, and conversations about faith are frequent. Many of our employees consider their work, their ministry.
Current Job Openings:
KITCHEN SERVER - Part-Time / 10-15 hours a week.
Job description: Servers help set up for meals, bring out food and serve the people at their tables, and help with clean-up after the meal.
Qualifications: Looking for people who desire to serve in a Christian Ministry, support our mission and statement of faith, and can operate well in a “team” environment.
Must be 16 years or older.
Must be able to carry food dishes to tables.
Must be able to walk, twist, bend, push/pull and kneel while cleaning.
Provide excellent friendly service to our guests.
Flexibility in hours and days available to work required.
Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment.
Pay: Shifts will vary by day and time, but most serving shifts are Friday night - Sunday morning. Starts at $16.70-$19.00 per hour based on experience.
LEAD SERVER - Part-Time Or Full-Time / 15-40 hours a week*
Job Description: Looking for a full-time person or a few part-time people to lead our serving team to provide excellent food service for our guests in the spirit of Christian hospitality.
Duties & Qualifications:
Hours are mostly Thurs-Sun with occasional shifts in the middle of the week.
Strong attention to detail and customer service skills required
Able to delegate and lead a team to accomplish tasks efficiently
Must be able to carry food dishes to tables. Must be able to walk, twist, bend, push/pull, and kneel while cleaning
Flexible schedule.
Pay: Pay starts at $18.30-$21.50 based on experience and availability
*Full-time hours will require cross-training in other departments
